Driver Service Instructions and Conduct Guidelines for Driving Operations

In some vehicles, we use Samsara dashcams. The cameras can capture the traffic area outside the vehicle as well as the vehicle's interior.

The system is used to increase the safety of passengers, drivers, and other road users, for investigating accidents, damage incidents, and safety-relevant events, as well as for improving operational safety within the scope of our passenger transport services.

This may involve the processing of image and, if applicable, event data from passengers, drivers, other road users, and individuals in the vicinity of the vehicle. Permanent surveillance or use for advertising purposes does not take place. Access to the recordings is granted only to authorized persons, insofar as this is necessary for clarifying an incident, protecting legitimate interests, or fulfilling legal obligations.

The legal basis for processing is, in particular, our legitimate interest in safe driving operations, the investigation of incidents, and protection against unjustified claims, in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The recordings are stored only for as long as necessary for the stated purposes.
